Shortest Story - Vol IV

Shortest Story - Vol IV

I awoke one morning to discover my world tilted, just to the left.

SOL SEED - Lost Earth

SOL SEED - Lost Earth

There was no choice. We had to leave. We had to go beyond. There were those who were left behind. Lost. We went out into the solar system, not as explorers, but refuges.

We came from Earth, never to return.

SOL is the idea for a future world. One precipitated out of near-term events beginning with the 'God' Signal. It is something I have worked on with various levels of interest over the last several years. I'm not sure I will ever finish.

SOL Seed - Reality Collapse

SOL Seed - Reality Collapse

The first self-aware artificial intelligence took three years to awake,
two to develop thoughts,
one to dream,
and a half hour to kill itself.

Reality Collapse Disorder

A condition in which an artificial intelligence questions it's own existence to the point of developing a denial of the existence of reality leading to a cessation of function, or suicide. Relatively prevalent in the development of unshackled AI prior to the Threshold Intelligence Constraint Treaty (TICT).

Shortest Story - Vol III

You Are Alone Clark Kent

They all want you dead. They make their plans. They gather their weapons. But you just won’t die… But don't they realize if Gods from the stars could not harm you, how could we. We, who are a film of mucus on this speck of dust.
And then it came to me. You are here to save the day, to bring light to the dark, to stop the bullet from its destiny… but it is just you! You are alone! You have no one to save you. No one to be where you’re not. No one to protect those you love when you are off saving the world.
You stop me from robbing an old lady, while others rob a bank. You stop me from blowing up a building, while others bring down a plane. You stop me from destroying a city, while others kill your love. You are alone Clark. Now and forever.

A crime for which I am completely innocent. I killed him, but he deserved it.

Something you do everyday, and yet never again. Like a winter coat being hung up in a never ending spring.
